Activation

Where do I find my license key?

Your product key is delivered to the email address used during checkout. Please check your inbox and spam folder. If you cannot locate it, contact our support team.

How many devices can I activate?

Each Kraxton Labs license allows activation on up to two machines simultaneously. You can manage and deactivate devices directly through the application's license manager.

My activation fails or says invalid. What should I do?

CompDX utilizes TurboActivate for secure licensing. Ensure you have an active internet connection and that your studio's firewall is not blocking the application. Double-check for extra spaces when pasting your key.

Installation

What are the system requirements?

CompDX requires macOS 13+ or Windows 10/11 (64-bit). An Apple Silicon or modern multi-core Intel/AMD processor with at least 16GB of RAM is recommended for optimal processing speed.

Is CompDX a DAW plugin?

No, CompDX is a dedicated standalone desktop application. It is engineered to process AAF files independently, automating the dialogue editing phase before you import the final sequence into your DAW.

macOS says the installer cannot be opened. Why?

This is standard Apple Gatekeeper behavior for professional tools distributed outside the App Store. Right-click (or Control-click) the installer, select "Open," and confirm the prompt to proceed securely.

Troubleshooting

My AAF file fails to load or process.

Ensure your AAF is exported correctly from your NLE. For best results, export AAFs with embedded audio, or verify that the referenced audio files remain in their original directory structure.

I am not hearing any audio playback.

Navigate to the Audio Preferences within CompDX and verify your output routing. On Windows, ensure a dedicated ASIO driver or standard Windows Audio device is actively assigned.

The interface is rendering incorrectly.

Ensure your dedicated GPU drivers are fully up to date. If using a high-DPI monitor, check your OS scaling settings. Contact support with your order number if graphical issues persist.
